This picture of the church was taken shortly after the repair work was completed in March 2001 and can be compared with that on a previous page taken when the church was in the shameful state of dilapidation reported by the Vicar and Churchwardens a hundred and nine years earlier in 1892

Although the bell tower had to be restored in the late 19th century one of its bells has called the people of Scawton to services for over 850 years and the second bell has being doing so for over 320 years
